We are extremely fortunate to be hosting writer Yewande Omotoso at the Ba re e ne re Literature Festival!

Yewande was born in Barbados in 1980 and grew up in Nigeria with her Barbadian mother, Nigerian father and two older brothers. The family moved to South Africa in 1992. Her debut novel Bom Boy won the South African Literary Award for First Time Author in 2012 and she has published numerous short stories and poems.
