We would like to Introduce the BA RE Dictionary, a weekly series where we showcase the creativity and growth of the Sesotho language.
Each week this year we will share on facebook and on our website a new Sesotho word that is either invented or comes from existing slang. We invite you to send us your own creative word ideas and use the words we share in your writing! Our first word is “maqakonako,” which means time travel in Sesotho.
